Our Mission

The goal of our engineering design project is to investigate the components that are present in a Tesla pump and improve the designs that have already been made in order to provide analysis of the efficiency and performance of the pump, as compared to that of other, more commercially available, conventional centrifugal pumps. This pump is run by a series of disks mounted on a shaft, which is coupled to a DC motor via time belt and pulley system.
